Micromax has just launched a new smartphone called the Canvas Selfie Lens. As the name suggests, it’s geared towards taking selfies and has a clip-on 0.4 X wide-angle lens that can be used for the front as well as the rear camera.
The smartphone has a 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top of it. There’s a 1.3GHz quad-core processor powering it and it further gets coupled with 1GB of RAM. It boots Android Lollipop and has an internal storage capacity of 8GB which can be further expanded by another 32GB.
The rear camera is an 8MP unit with a Largan lens, Sony sensor and a LED flash. As far as the front camera is concerned, it has a resolution of 5MP and makes use of a Largan lens alongside an OmniVision sensor. It comes with a host of settings for the camera which include a beauty mode, skin smoothening, sharpening and eye enlargement. There are a range of editing tools available as well.
The Canvas Selfie Lens gets 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity. It will be available in White and Champagne and Moondust Gray colours for Rs 8,299 across online and offline channels.
