Gionee has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of the new F103 smartphone. Priced at Rs. 9,999, the handset will be going on sale in India soon.
The Gionee F103 supports both LTE bands in India and will be competing against other popular smartphones in the same segment including the Lenovo K3 Note, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, and Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen). Another notable feature of the handset is it features glass back panel while sporting a metal frame.

Running Android 5.0 Lollipop with the Amigo 3.0 skin on top. it features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and comes with Dragontrail glass for protection from scratches. The dual-SIM smartphone features dual standby and is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor that is coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone will be offered in Pearl White, Dawn White and Black colours.
The Gionee F103 sports an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture while also packing a 5-megapixel front camera. The handset comes with 16GB inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Apart from 4G, the smartphone includes Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB connectivity options. It measures 146×70.3×7.95mm and packs a 2400mAh battery.
