The Xiaomi Mi Band was launched back in late-April this year, alongside the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 4i at the company’s Global Mi Phone Premiere launch event in New Delhi. Priced at Rs. 999, the Mi 4i is aimed at undercutting most of the competing fitness trackers in the market. The Mi Band straps are priced at Rs. 199 each.
Interestingly though, Micromax subsidiary Yu Televentures soon after in May alsolaunched its own fitness tracking band in India at the same price, the YuFit, with a few added features such as an LCD display.
Coming to the new 16000mAh Mi Power Bank, Xiaomi India had introduced the mobile accessory back in November in China, but only announced the India launch back in late May alongside the new 5000mAh Mi Power Bank. At the time, Xiaomi had asked its fans to vote for which power bank should be launched first in the country on June 9 – the 16000mAh Mi Power Bank won out. It is priced at Rs. 1,399
