The Canadian computer manufacturer has launched its Sky X9W laptop, a ‘mobile workstation’ an upgrade to its already splendid Sky X9 released in October last year as compiled by Gadgets 360°.

 
The EUROCOM Sky X9W is highly reliable and is embedded with inbuilt features of upgradeability to enhance capability and deliver maximum super computer performance. The ‘mobile workstation’ is a completely user-upgradeable and fully customizable gadget that also can encompass several variety of features such as Quadro GPUs and high performance desktop socket processors, powered by a quad-core, Intel Core i7 ‘Skylake-S’ 6700K chip and Intel Z170 Express ‘Skylake’ chipset.

 
The upgradation is equipped with incredible Intel Processors up to Intel Core i7 6700K accompanied by 64 GB DDR4 memory. It also has five TB solid state storage and professional graphics up to NVIDIA Quadro M5000M powering an exquisite 17.3” 4K Ultra HD display. “With the EUROCOM Sky X9, one can incur the desktop workstation capability and performance on the road, for all the performance that one needs,” states Mark Bialic, Eurocom President.

 
The EUROCOM Sky X9W’s key specifications include: A 17.3-inch 4K (3840×2160 pixels) display and the base configuration starts with 16GB of DDR4 2133MHz RAM, that can go up to 64GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM. The Users can opt for a display with full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) screen resolution. It also comes with up to 5TB of SSD storage in a RAID 10 configuration.

 
Regarding the connectivity there’s one USB 3.1 Type-C port, five USB 3.0 ports, a pair of mini display ports that can power up to four monitors, an HDMI outlet, one headphone, one mic, two RS 45 ports, and supports Wi-Fi. On the software front, users can opt for Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 7. The laptop weighs 4.8kg, and measures 428x308x45mm. Much like many other good things in life, the laptop also has a big price tag, with a starting price point of $2,930 (roughly Rs.198, 000).
