If you’ve been fortunate enough to get your hands on the OnePlus One, you will be pleased to know that a new software update has been sent out by the manufacturer. The update promises to fix the slow battery charging bug that users have complained about since launch.
Of course, there aren’t a lot of customers of the OnePlus One out there due to the company’s heavily criticized invite only system. However, if you’re lucky enough to own one, make sure you’re on the lookout for an update carrying build number XNPH25R.
Prior to the update, the smartphone would show the device as being charged over USB even when the AC adapter was plugged in. This led to the device being charged slowly than usual, causing a lot of trouble for the customers. This is particularly frustrating as the device has a 3,200 mAh battery which takes a while to fully charge. So the owners will be pleased to know that the issue has been finally resolved.
