Just a few days ago, the Lumia 650, an upcoming affordable phone by Microsoft, running on Windows 10, surfaced in what seemed like a very official press picture.
Today, what we saw earlier is corroborated by a few additional alleged press shots of the Lumia 650 that show the device from various angles, courtesy of Winfuture Germany. Additional reports say that the Lumia 650 is coming to Cricket Wireless in the United States, and it will also be available in Europe (Orange France, in particular, seems confirmed).
- 5-inch 720p AMOLED display with Glance Screen feature
- 7.27mm thickness
- Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 or Qualcomm MSM8909v2 Snapdragon 212
- 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie shooter
- 2000 mAh battery
- 8GB or 16GB internal storage, microSD card slot
The Lumia 650 will also support 4G LTE connectivity, but it’s not yet clear what exact bands and carriers it will work with.
The rumored price of the Lumia 650 stands around €220 in Europe, while in the United States, we expect the price tag to be below the $200 mark.
Originally expected to be announced this week, a software issue has reportedly pushed back the unveiling of the phone until the middle of February.
