Only a couple of devices were launched in India this week.
This week saw a lot of smartphones, tablets and accessories being unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona, Spain. However, very few devices were actually launched in India.

Xolo Era X
Priced at Rs 4,777, the Xolo Era X is available in black colour. The Xolo Era X features a 5-inch HD (720 X 1280p) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core (Spreadtrum SC9830A) processor, which is clubbed with 2GB of RAM and Mali 400 MP2 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system but Xolo has promised to upgrade it to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, though it has not mentioned when. The device comes fitted with a 2500 mAh removable battery, which claims to offer talk-time of up-to 10 hours 35 mins on 3G network.
The Era X comes with 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable by up-to 32GB via a micro SD card. The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear snapper with LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera has various features like smile detection, slow motion video capture, panorama, burst mode, location capture, and HDR. Besides, the Xolo Era X offers Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, GPS/AGPS, microUSB 2.0, Accelerometer, Proximity and Light sensor. The handset measures 145.5 x 72 x 8.45 mm and weighs 142 grams.
Lava Twinpad
This 2 in 1 tablet was launched earlier this week for Rs 15,999. The Twinpad will be available in silver colour. Its 10.1-inch IPS display comes with Stylus support, 800×1280 pixels resolution and 5-Point multi-touch support. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Intel processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The device runs on Windows 10 operating system and is backed up by a huge 7400 mAh battery.
The Twinpad has 32 GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expandable up-to 64GB via microSD card. It sports an 2-megapixel camera both in front & back panel. Besides, the Twinpad offers Single SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 2 USB Slots and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Blu Life Mark
It was silently launched in India this week. You can get it from Amazon for Rs 8,999. Unfortunately it is only available in white colour.
The Ble Life Mark features a 5-inch HD (1280 × 720) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. This dual SIM phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and has a fingerprint sensor on the back.
It comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB in-built storage which can be expanded to 64 GB through a micro SD card. It has a 2300 mAh removable battery which claims to offer talk-time of 20 hours on 2G, 16 hours on 3G, 7 hours on 4G networks and standby time of 400 hours.
On the connectivity front, the Blu Life Mark comes with 4G connectivity with WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), A-GPS, Type C-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0.
Celkon Diamond 4G Tab 7
This is perhaps the only 4G tablet in the sub-Rs 10,000 segment. It was launched this week for Rs 5,950 and is available from Flipkart.
The new Celkon Diamond 4G Tab 7 tablet has a 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB built in memory. The device has a 32 GB micro SD card slot. This Android Lollipop operating system based tablet offers a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front camera. The tablet gets the power from a 3000 mAh battery.
The Celkon Diamond 4G Tab 7 offers dual SIM, 4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and micro USB. The tablet measures 12.7 x 48 x 13.7 mm and weighs 70 grams. It has G Sensor.
