The LG V30+ has arrived in Japan thanks to carrier KDDI. The phone supports 4G LTE connectivity as well as WiMAX 2+ to work better with the carrier’s network. It also supports 1seg wireless TV.
Other than the connectivity changes, the phone is the familiar V30. To make up for its delayed launch, it will come with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. You’ll have a choice of Aura Black, Cloud Silver and Moroccan Blue colors.
In the box you’ll get a pair of B&O Play headphones to use in combination with the phone’s QuadDAC. You can find additional accessories at au.com.
Note that somewhat confusingly the LG V30+ is also known as LG V35. That’s so it’s not confused with the LG V34, which was a mini version of the V20 (known as the LG Q8 in the West).
