LG today officially announced the launch of LG G4 in India today for Rs 51,500. Ironically, it was made available earlier this month itself, even before this official launch. The handset is available in the country via few e-retailers for around Rs 47,000 but the official price tag is expected to be Rs 51.500.
Meanwhile, LG has said that customers who will buy the G4 before August 15 will stand a chance to meet the Indian superstar, Amitabh Bachchan.
The LG G4 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and comes with a big 5.5-inch IPS display with Quad HD resolution (2560×1440 pixels), thus offering huge 538 ppi pixel density. The phone has 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and a 2 TB micro SD card slot.
The dual SIM LG G4 has a 16 megapixel rear camera with F/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation feature. There is an 8 megapixel camera in its front. The smartphone has a 3000 mAh battery as well which is removable.
The Android 5.1 based Android Lollipop smartphone measures 148.9 x 76.1 x 6.3 – 9.8 mm and weighs 155 grams. This 4G smartphone has WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and a micro USB 2.0 port as well. The LG G4 will be available in India in grey, white, gold, black, brown, red, sky blue, beige and yellow colours.
