A rendering of the LG G Flex telephone.
We will have gotten our first peek at LG’s upcoming curved show smartphone.
A gallery of leaked pictures allegedly snapped of the LG G Flex finds a curved 6-inch monitor and rear buttons mounted in a mode much like that found on the LG G2, The Verge stated Wednesday. The photos come from journalist Federico In, who claims that the G Flex will launch in South Korea in November but that no unlock, is planned for the us, Europe, or Latin America.
The curved aspect of the phone is much like the curved OLED TVs from LG and Samsung, The Verge added, by which the edges of the display flip inwards moderately.
LG and Samsung are each dipping into the versatile-reveal smartphone market. Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy round, touting it as the arena’s first (deeply) curved display smartphone. The phones themselves are not flexible; reasonably the screens simply bow to higher suit your cheek. Whether or not or now not customers will jump on that as a selling point remains to be considered.
