HTC has announced a new Desire series smartphone – the HTC Desire 555. The smartphone is priced at $119 which is approximately Rs 7,658 and it will be available through Cricket wireless carrier in the US. The HTC Desire 555 will be available in dark grey colour option.
The HTC Desire 555 comes with a 5 inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display with Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor with Adreno 304 GPU. The Desire 555 comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, which can be further expandable to 2TB with a microSD card. On the camera front, the smartphone offers 8-megapixel shooter with LED flash on its back. On its front, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. Further, the smartphone offers 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4,1, GPS/AGPS/ GLONASS, and micro USB 2.0. The handset measures 146 x 70 x 8 mm and weighs 140 grams. The Apart from this, Desire 555 also features HTC’s exclusive features, including BoomSound for better sound quality, HTC Themes for personalization options and HTC BlinkFeed, too.
