Not long after we heard that the upcoming One M10 (aka Perfume) might not have that peculiar HTC-branded black bar below its display, we can now take a look at what appears to be the very first image of HTC’s next-gen flagship smartphone.
Posted today on Twitter by @evleaks, said image shows a device that kind of resembles the One A9 (just as rumored). The HTC-branded bar is indeed gone, so it seems that this will be the first HTC One flagship not to have it, thus looking quite different from its successors: HTC One, HTC One M8, and HTC One M9.
Besides not having an HTC-branded black bar, the One M10 features a rounded home button which, just like on the A9, probably includes a fingerprint scanner.
According to recent rumors, the One M10 has a 5.1-inch AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD), and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor aided by 4 GB of RAM. 32 GB of expandable internal memory, and a 12 MP UltraPixel rear camera with laser auto focus should also be on board. All in all, the handset will be significantly more advanced that the One M9 (which features a 1080p display, a Snapdragon 810 processor, and only 3 GB of RAM).
Since @evleaks usually reveals images that show real upcoming devices, we’re inclined to believe that what we’re seeing above is indeed the HTC One M10. The new handset could be officially announced sometime in March. What do you think: does it look better than the One M9?
