The prestigious Jamia Milia Islamia witnessed a great moment for its university, when nineteen students from the Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) run by the Centre for Coaching and Career Planning (CC&CP), were selected for the country’s most coveted civil services exam. The candidates were selected on the basis of the main examination conducted by the UPSC in December, which was followed by a personality test in May and June.
The Residential Coaching Academy was lauded for its efforts on improving the score from 11 in 2013 Civil Services Exam to 19 in Civil Services Exam 2014. The Centre for Coaching and Career Planning in Jamia will is also be expected to make contributions and produce finest candidates for Indian bureaucracy.
The Residential Coaching Academy in Jamia is known for its exemplary coaching and residential facilities provided to students belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes and Minorities category. The students are selected for their comprehensive coaching on the basis of an all-India written test followed by interviews taken individually. Currently, as many as two hundred aspirants are preparing for a variety of jobs including those who are set to write the civil services preliminaryexamination scheduled to be held on August 23.
