LG is finally releasing the much anticipated Q6 in India this week. The phone will be available exclusively on Amazon on August 10. The phone – first amongst its Q-series — was launched last month by the South Korean company.
Amazon had teased the mid-range phone and potential buyers can click on the ‘Notify me’ tab on the website in order to get notified when the phone becomes available on the website.
Specs wise, the phone comes with a 5.5 inch, FHD+, FullVision Display at a resolution of 2160*1080 pixels with 442 pixels per inch (ppi).
With an aspect ratio of 18:9 LG claims the phone will bring a whole new dimension to all the multimedia aspects such as watching movies, playing games and even browsing.
At the heart of the phone lies an octa-core Snapdragon 835 which is amply supported by a 3GB RAM. The device will come with a 32GB internal memory and support expandable memory via micoSD card.
The phone will sport a metal body which will be made using aluminium thereby not only reducing the overall weight of the phone, but it will also make the phone more durable.
Breaking the current trend of dual-rear cameras, the phone comes with a 13 megapixel snapper in the rear which can shoot videos at 1080 @ 30fps. For selfie fans, the phone will have a 5 megapixel 100-degree wide angle shooter at the front which is capable of capturing the whole scene instead of just close portraits.
The device will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will be powered by a 3000 mAh battery. Other features include Bluetooth v4.2, Micro-USB, 4G VoLTE compatibility, face recognition for security, among others.
The phone will come in four colour options such as Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White, Terra Gold. Though, Amazon is yet to reveal the price of the phone, it is expected to cost less than Rs 20,000, which will make it an attractive option for the Indian market.
