Huawei has quietly listed a new smartphone on the company’s official website called Y6 Pro. It is the Pro variant of the Y6 that was launched last year. It features a metal frame and a textured back cover, which the company calls “water ripple” design. Boasting decent hardware on board, the company hasn’t mentioned anything about the launch date and pricing of the smartphone. According to the listing, the Y6 Pro will be available in White, Gold and Gray color variants.
One of the talking points of the Y6 Pro is the 4,000mAh battery, which the company claims to offer talk time of 39 hours. Also with Smart Power Saving mode turned on, it can last for 24 hours on just 10 percent charge, the company says.
Huawei Y6 Pro specifications and features: The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch HD (720p) display and is powered by MediaTek’s MT6735P quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz. The Y6 Pro also packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. However, there is no word on whether or not it features an expandable storage option using a microSD card.
For shutterbugs, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie unit. In terms of connectivity, dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth and GPS are present on the Huawei Y6 Pro. Armed with 4,000mAh battery, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.1 Lite running on top.
