This year, Miranda House has begun with the paperless admission which only took five to seven minutes for the students to fill up the application form. The students were guided to the ‘E-Resource Centre’ to fill up the online form. The Delhi University has published the first cut off list on the official website. The candidates who have been selected for admission needs to fill the Miranda House Pre- Admission form before they can be admitted to the college.
According to a report in Times of India, the principal of Miranda House, Dr. Pratibha Jolly said, “Due to this process the paper component in the admission process has been reduced to less than 25 percent. The complete admission process including the manual verification of the documents which takes the maximum time gets over in less than an hour. We started the admission process at 9 am and I signed the first admission 45 minutes later.”
She further added in a report, “The online form will automatically take many things like the pin code if you name the state and specific area of residence of the city. After filling up this form and completing the admission process, the outstation students will just need to come once to fill in their local residence address.”
The fee structure for different programmes is different. The candidates can check the fee structure on the official website for which the link is available here: http://www.mirandahouse.ac.in/MirandaHouse/ProgramFile/InfoGallery/HomePage/Click.asp?LinkName=4.2&strLinkName=Application%20Process
